COVID-19 Update

Welcome to our new normal as we continue to serve our patients and communities.

To protect the health of each patient, we will…

Continue to require patients who have a fever, cough, trouble breathing, have been tested positive for COVID-19, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive, to wait 30 days before visiting our office. This is our policy, and we will enforce this for the safety of our patients, staff, doctors, and their respective families.

Require all persons entering the office to wear a face mask and have their temperature taken. If temperature is greater than 100°F, we will kindly reschedule appointment.

Limit patient time in the office by streamlining all office procedures and requiring patients to complete all paperwork prior to their appointment through our online portal or via email.

Limit the number of persons in the office to allow for adequate social distancing, by requesting patients come alone to their appointments (unless they are a minor or need assistance), having patients wait in their cars until their appointed time, and scheduling appointments for all services (exams, pick-ups, adjustments, frame selection, etc.)—no walk-ins. We will do our best to keep on time.

Continue to have staff wear face masks, wash/sanitize their hands after each patient encounter, and disinfect door handles/knobs, chairs, tables, countertops, equipment, pens, forms, etc. (all frequent contact points) after each patient.

Have patients use hand sanitizer upon entering the office and before browsing for frames. Staff will assist with frame selection. All frames handled are cleaned before and after each patient.

Have breath shields on countertops, dispensing tables, pupillometers, and slit lamps.

We at Maison Optique Optometric Center have been here for our communities during the pandemic by providing emergency/urgent eye care and we are here for you now as restrictions loosen.
